Already Have a Personal License?

If you're currently on Personal and want to move your team to Business, here's how:

  1. Purchase a Business license with the number of seats you need (including yourself)
  2. Log in to the Customer Portal to manage your Business license
  3. Invite your team members via the portal - each gets their own unique license key
  4. Activate your new Business seat using the key from your Business license
  5. Cancel your Personal subscription through the portal when ready

You can keep both licenses active during the transition. Your Personal license will continue working until canceled.

Cost comparison: Personal costs $59.40/year for one person (can use up to 3 of your own devices). Business costs $50/seat/year with 1 active machine per person - so for teams of 2+ people, Business is more cost-effective and gives you team management features.

How does the free trial work?

Start your 14-day trial instantly. We'll ask for a credit card to prevent abuse, but you won't be charged until after the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial and pay nothing.

Can I change plans later?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately and we'll prorate the difference.

How do I upgrade from Personal to Business?

Purchase a Business license with the seats you need, invite your team members, then cancel your Personal subscription via the Customer Portal when ready. You can run both licenses during the transition - there's no automatic migration, so you control the timing.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Log in to the Customer Portal with your email, then click "Manage Billing" on your license. This opens Stripe's billing portal where you can cancel your subscription, update payment methods, or view invoices.

What happens after my trial ends?

If you don't cancel, your subscription automatically continues and you'll be charged the monthly rate. You'll receive an email reminder 3 days before your trial ends.

How do I use my license in VS Code or Cursor?

After signing up, you'll receive a subscription ID via email. In VS Code or Cursor: Open the Code Utility for OneStream extension settings and enter your subscription ID (format: sub_xxx) as your license key. The extension works identically in both editors.

Can I use one license on multiple devices?

Personal licenses can be used on up to 3 devices. Business licenses allow 1 machine per seat - perfect for teams where each developer needs their own dedicated machine.
